Physical Environment
Snow Lake
In Snow Lake they have lots of rocks, trees, lakes and rivers. There's cold weather in the winter and warm summers. In the summer, they go to the parks, biking and to the beach. Skiing and sleding are popular in the winter.They have a low crime rate.
Virginia
Shenandoah Valley of Virginia has many mountain ranges running north to south called the Massenutten Mountains. The students there live in a rural area with lots of trees, lakes, streams, and river bottom.
Cartagena
In Cartagena there are no states, they're called departamentos. It's surrounded by water. Construction on many buildings. There are many restaurant and shopping places. Some places are safer than others, where they live it's very safe. It's very small and they live close to eachother. There's a lot of green space and trees.
Social Environment
Snow Lake
In Snow Lake they have many ways of having fun most of the time they are
outside activities like swimming, biking, skating, skiing, sliding, having
fun with your friends, hanging out with them, or simply do sports.
Virginia
In Virginia like in Snow Lake, people have a normal social live. They hang
out; they go shopping in the malls, have sleepovers, go to the pool, dating
which is pretty interesting, go to the movies, out to eat, play video games,
have phone calls or again like in Snow Lake do sports.
Cartagena
In Cartagena like in Snow Lake and Virginia people enjoy of outdoors
activities. Teens go out, have sleepovers, go to different fast food
restaurants, go to the pool, sometimes go to the cinema, biking, skating,
kayaking and like always do sports.
School Environment
Snow Lake
School in Snow Lake begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:30pm. They first get ready for the day and talk about what they did that night. Then, it's time to silent read for about 30 minutes. After that, the students usually work on English Language Arts or Social Studies. Then at 10:15, the students enjoy a ten minute break. After this, the students either have Phis. Ed, or they do what they were doing before break. Around 11:45 am, the students enjoy lunch. Kids who live close to the school go home for lunch and kids who take the bus stay for lunch. After lunch, the students either go to Home Economics, French, or Social Studies/Science. Then, the students have another 10 minute break. At the end of the day, the students dread when they hear the word "Math". Then at 3:30pm, the students can finally go home after a long day at school. There are many after school activites like sports. Kids even go out of town for sports to compete in the Frontier Games.
Virginia
In Virginia, school begins at 8:25am and ends at 3:09pm. Their school teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. These students learn Geography, Algebra, Physical Science, P.E, Band, Agriculture, Computers, and more. There are strict clothing rules at this school and students have to wear uniforms. There is also a no bullying policy at this school. Students here love sports. For example, there is a 7th and 8th grade boys basket-ball team and a 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team. Students at this school need a break once in a while, so they have a 2 week Christmas Break and they have a 1 week Spring Break.
Currently, there is construction being done to the school. Also, the students at the school went to the Apple Store in December and did a demonstration for people.
Cartagena
In Cartegena, school starts at 7:00am and ends at 2:30pm. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are elementary; 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are middle school; and 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades are high school. Sports are popular in this school. Also, Mr.Hide teaches English and Social Studies.
